It is with great pride and commitment that I present to you the journey and vision of our organization. My name is Sangani Kinde, and I was born in the Democratic Republic of Congo on April 14. As the manager of COMIKATA, a small-scale mining cooperative operating in the Katanga province, I have had the honor of guiding this entity through nearly two decades of growth and transformation.

Founded in 2007, COMIKATA began as a dedicated player in the small-scale mining sector. Over the years, we recognized the importance of adapting to a rapidly changing economic environment and, as a result, strategically expanded our focus to include Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises (SMEs). Today, with 18 years of experience, we stand as a resilient and forward-thinking organization, deeply rooted in the mining industry yet continuously evolving to meet broader development goals.

Our commitment to sustainable and inclusive growth inspired the creation of the Kinde Pan-African Foundation (KFP)—a structure that embodies our dedication to social and cultural rights. Through KFP, we aim to uphold and promote essential human needs, including the right to adequate food, housing, education, health, water, work, and life itself.
